Homemade Wine Jelly A sweet, spreadable condiment for the canning oenophile. By Shannon Hatch | April 13, 2012 Makes four 1-cup jars Something full-bodied and fruity works best. 1 (750-ml) bottle red wine 3¼ cups sugar 1 (3-ounce) envelope liquid pectin 3 tablespoons lemon juice 1/8 teaspoon butter 1. Bring 1¼ cups wine to boil in small saucepan over medium-high heat, and cook until reduced to 1/3 cup, 15 to 20 minutes; set aside. 2. Bring remaining wine and sugar to boil in large saucepan, stirring frequently. Stir in pectin, lemon juice, and butter, and return to vigorous boil, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Yogurt Cake

Gâteau au Yaourt Source 2 eggs 2 'tubs' (125ml or 4oz) whole milk plain unsweetened yogurt 2 'tubs' sugar 4 'tubs' all-purpose flour 1 scant 'tub' vegetable oil 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon pure vanilla paste/extract 1 tablespoon light rum Preheat the oven to 180° C (350° F). Line the bottom of a round 25-cm (10-inch) cake pan with parchment paper and grease the sides. In a large mixing-bowl, gently combine the yogurt, eggs, sugar, vanilla, oil, and rum. In another bowl, sift together the flour and baking powder. Add the flour mixture into the yogurt mixture, and blend together -- don't overwork the dough. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
